Spare Time on Thursday? Go Bowling

Here are five pieces of information to help fuel your day in Northborough.

It's Thursday, and that means we've put together this list of things going on in Northborough to help make your week a little brighter, easier and more fun. For a full list of things to do this week, look at the Patch calendar of events.

1. Spare time Thursday? Go bowling.

The Northborough Senior Center offers candlepin bowling at 9 a.m. Thursday at Sawyer Bowlardrome in downtown Northborough. The cost is $7 for three strings, including shoe rental.

2. In case you missed it: Donate a toy.

Toy donations for ages one to 16 can be brought to three Northborough town buildings this season.

3. Work on holiday shopping.

Northborough's Heart and Stone Jewelry holds a holiday shopping event from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. Thursday at 269 West Main St., Unit 3A. Thumbprint charms can be made from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.

4. Create origami.

The Northborough Free Library holds an origami program from 3:30 to 4:30 p.m. Thursday.

5. Who will join the cultural council?
 
The Northborough Cultural Council will vote on new members at 7 p.m. Thursday at Craftworks, 243 West Main St.
