Wegmans Food Markets announced it has appointed two industry leaders: Marybeth Stewart as human resources manager of Wegmans’ New England Division, and Dan Tartaglia as executive chef for Wegmans Northborough. Rep. Harold Naughton was pleased to announce that the Commonwealth is receiving $28 million in Federal Block Grants. While Northborough is not among the towns receiving money, the grants benefit many nearby projects and towns. BJ's Wholesale Club, which is one of the anchor stores in the soon to be open Northborough Crossing, donated money recently to the Worcester County Food Bank, which also helps bolster some of the Northborough Food Bank's supplies. Bistro Limoncello is looking for your best family recipes, and that includes food and martinis. The restaurant, located in Northborough, might even pick these recipes to put on its menu. There's an annual flea market and yard sale on June 25 at the Northborough Senior Center, and they're seeking vendors as well as donations for the big sale. Northborough Moms and Tots announced their latest fundraisesr to benefit its Fourth Annual Backpack Drive.
