With the sounds of saxophones, flute, piano and drums and a reminder to “turn off all cell phones”, the sold out audience enjoyed opening night of The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee, the first ever student directed musical at Algonquin Regional High School.From the opening announcements to the standing ovation at the end, the audience was in for a treat.
