- There has been a steady decline in jobs created since January of this year
- The "middle class" has lost a record amount of wealth during the last three and a half years
- Record numbers of people have slipped under the poverty line under this president
- The number of people on food stamps has increased to 15 percent of the population under Obama
- Manufacturing production is way down
- Consumer confidence is way down
- Retail sales are down
- Foreclosures are up

The President told us, “The stimulus law will create or save 3.5 million jobs and a new wave of innovation, activity and construction will be unleashed across America that will bring real and lasting change for generations to come.” We were told that unemployment, that was 7.6 % in January 2009, would stay below 8% by pumping $787 billion into the economy. Up until this time, a stimulus was thought to be large if it was 20-60 billion! The results are shameful. Real unemployment, which counts unemployment, underemployment, and people who have given up searching for work, was 15.1% in January 2012 according to the Bureau of Labor Statistics.
Why? President Obama is anti business. The president and his NLRB appointees objected to Boeing expanding its airplane production in SC. The president refused to allow the Keystone Pipeline project which would have hired thousands to build an oil pipeline from Canada to Texas. The president proposes to do nothing and allow the Bush tax cuts to expire on small businesses that file their company’s tax return on the 1040 form. An anti-business government means the private sector has less to spend on capital projects, equipment and labor."
