Over 400 athletes will gather on the state hospital shores of Lake Chauncy on Sunday, August 19 for a day of intense competition and fun. Conducted with the help of Sun Multisport Events, a significant proportion of each registration will help the American Diabetes Association. The triathlon will be followed in September with a special program on Type II diabetes.
To kick things off, the Westboro Tennis and Swim Club will sponsor a program on Triathlon and Racing Basics on Sunday, August 5. This is great for first time competitors.
For detailed information, forms, and a wonderful public service video produced by Westborough Community Television visit the Westborough Rotary Club's website at www.westboroughrotary.org. While there you can view photos from past events, records set and a lot of information on the Rotary Club and its contributions to Westborough and the world.

A reminder. You do not need to live in Westborough to participate in or help with this event. We attract athletes from around the country, many Rotarians from outside the sponsoring town stop by to take a look, help or participate and part of the event flows right through Northborough. Its also a great chance to take a look at the wonderful shoreline of Chauncy Lake that is threatened by development.
