Today was a day I was reminded of kindness.

I left behind an iPod at Britey's Cafe. It wasn't mine to boot. For some, maybe this item is replaceable. To my family it isn't. It was a prize we won at a memorable family-work event. This is something I would not normally buy. In addition, my husband is a music fanatic, and would almost die not to have his daily music fix.

I was worried that I would never see the iPod again. I didn't want to break the news to my husband.

I called Britney's in the morning and they had it! Whoot whoot! Some kindhearted person found it on the bench outside the restaurant. They graciously gave it to the waitress, who kindly held onto it for me. 

Their professionalism and thoughtfulness means a lot to me; Thank you.

This kindness comes to me at a time where I had begun to think that people like this did not exist in this world anymore. Whomever you are, I hope you read this. Not only did you return a much loved item to my family but you returned my faith in people. I hope you and yours are well and thank you for being so trustworthy.The people in town are top notch!
