Steven Levy: Putting Victims Rights Ahead of Criminal Rights

Steven Levy does more than talk about doing what is right for the citizens of Massachusetts. He is standing up for the victims of violent crimes.

Watch this interview with Steven Levy on Fox 25 News as he talks about the case of a girl who was raped when she was 14 years old and now has the rapist seeking visitation rights to her baby. Levy is introducing legislation that will prevent convicted rapists from being allowed to continue to victimize the women they have assaulted in this way.

The sad thing is that not one Democrat politician on Beacon Hill, including Governor Patrick, has expressed support for Levy's proposed bill.

If you believe this is wrong then please call State Representative Steven Levy and tell him to stand strong as he fights for this woman's rights. Be sure to also call Governor Deval Patrick and demand that he support Steven Levy's legislation that protects a woman from her rapist.

Vote for Steven Levy this November. He is looking out for us.

ok since i did not get a response from the poster, i did some checking. The bill has not yet been filed. From the text of the interview "Rep. Levy says he'll file a bill " The governors response, through his press secretary "statement calling this a "very sad situation" and that the governor would give any bill to address it his full consideration.

Nothing but spin
