To whom it may concern:

People seem to think that Obama is better than Romney on national security. Consider the following: 70 percent of our military deaths in Afghanistan have occurred during Obama’s past 3 ½ years compared to 30 percent during Bush’s eight years. This is staggering! Could it be because Obama (unlike Bush) has not listened to his generals, has not supplied the troops they requested, has saddled our troops with extremely unfair Marquess of Queensberry rules-of-engagement?

And how about Iraq? That country was on its way to becoming the first real Arab democracy in the Middle East with a responsible and secular government because Bush remained connected and engaged and supportive of them. Then Obama abruptly pulled all of our troops out of there, on his schedule, and since then the violence has escalated and in desperation Iraq is not reaching out to us. They’re reaching out to our enemies.

Finally, have you noticed that Obama has helped to remove every pro-American leaning dictator (Egypt, Libya) in the Middle East but those that are strongly anti-American have been left alone (Syria, Iran)?

Better on national security? I think not, but since the mainstream media does not report on any of these facts the American people can be forgiven for thinking Obama is doing such a good job. I would ask everyone to look closer, educate yourself to what’s really happening and choose wisely in November. Our national security depends on it.
