I'd just like to take an informal poll of those of you who do not attend a church. In just a few words, why don't you go? Or if you do go...why and where do you attend?
And I'd also like to know what perception you have of a Southern Baptist Church. I have a blog ready to go which describes Rice Memorial, but I'd like to hear some of your perceptions first. Please be honest. I won't judge...but I may come back with a question or two for you....

I am a member of the Congregational Church in Northborough and attend when I am in Northborough. I am out of town some weekends in Vermont and in Chatham, MA.

I stopped going to church shortly after confirmation when I was a teen and haven't felt the need to go back to it. My perceptions of Southern Baptists is that they don't smoke or drink.

Thanks for sharing, Ellen. I don't smoke or drink, but I can't say that for all my congregation. See ya 'round town.

I don't go. I did unitl I went to college and loved it. Now with my husband and I both working full time and kids activites and general household "chores" on the weekend it hard to give up that hour.
