Most Taxpayers I know and those I've met need to have their Property Taxes reduced in FY13 since Town govt has reaped +$6Mil (+12% increase) more in New Revenues in FY13 over FY12 to run the same level of Town services. And, not a penny of the FY13 New Revenues were dedicated to reduce Property Taxes. This is the concern I hear expressed by our fellow homeowners and their expressed desires to see a change in the BOS.
In any case, it's always worthwhile and wise to turnover in elected officials. It promotes and supports better govt when Voters turnover their elected officials, that promotes improved citizen control in our democracy....it's our democratic way.
