We received about 80 submissions to our Winter in New England photo contest.

We could only choose one, however, as the winner of a $25 gift card.

All photos uploaded before 5 p.m. yesterday were under consideration to be crowned the winner in Patch's Picture of the Week Contest.

Never an easy decision, it took us quite some time to pick a winner of this one! After deliberating, we had to go with Peter McLaughlin's gorgeous close-up photo of a bundled-up child in the snow.
