Which Northborough Gas Stations Have the Cheapest Gas?

Gas prices in the area have increased by 20 cents over the past month.

The lower gas price of a month ago is now just a memory as regular gas prices have increased by 20 cents over the past month in the Boston area.

The average regular gallon of gas is $3.80 today in the Boston area compared to $3.60 just a month ago. Mid-range gas is now $3.94 compared to $3.76 from a month ago and premium has increased to $4.07 from $3.88, according to AAA.

Closer to home, there are at least seven stations charging less than the area average, according to the Gas Buddy app: BJ's at Northborough Crossing is $3.63, Peterson Oil is $3.65, Gasco on Milk Street is $3.69, Gulf is $3.77 as is Top Energy, Shell's gas is $3.79 and BP just makes it under the average at $3.79.

Gas prices are up, but they are nothing compared to the summer of 2008 when AAA reports a gallon of regular gas shot up to $4.09.
