It was very close. This is one of the closest contest we've seen thus far in our Patch "best of" series.

But Bacon's Wine and Spirits in Northborough squeaked out the lead and kept it near the end, taking 38 percent of the vote over the second place Wegmans for best liquor store in town.

With two locations (Bacon's is also in Hudson), this liquor store offers a huge variety, plus specials, wine tastings, and event services such as catering and bartending.
