Police Log: Broken Windows and Screens; Fraud; Arrest for Larceny; Bike Struck

The following information was supplied by the Northborough police department. Where arrests or charges are mentioned, it does not indicate a conviction.

 

Incidents, Thursday, May 24

2:57 a.m.: Expired registration, West Main Street. Tow truck called, and two civil citations are issued. Two parties transported back to the station. 

5:07 a.m.: Criminal application for operating after revocation, Main Street

6:41 a.m.: Summons issued, Main Street

7:15 a.m.: Medical call on West Main Street

7:29 a.m.: Resident reports broken window to home on South Street

10:53 a.m.: Medical call on Jay Ave.

10:53 a.m.: Medical call on Bearfoot Road

1:31 p.m.: Minor two-car MVA on West Main Street with no injuries. Operator is transported to residence and citation is issued

2:30 p.m.: Resident reports damage to screens on the windows, Beechwood Circle

3:16 p.m.: Minor MVA in parking lot on Shops Way.

5:06 p.m.: Medical call on Byrant Lane

5:41 p.m.: Party reports possible gunshots in area on Otis Street. Officers hear nothing upon arrival

6:10 p.m.: Medical call on South Street

8 p.m.: One male in custody for a warrant, Avalon Drive

8:16 p.m.: Party reports past argument at residence, Hudson Street

11:14 p.m.: Party in lobby reports online fraud, Pleasant Street

Incidents, Friday, May 25

9:07 a.m.: Medical call on Mohawk Drive

1:35 p.m.: Employee reports past theft, Shops Way

4:03 p.m.: Medical call on Otis Street

6:01 p.m.: Bicycle struck by vehicle on Otis Street. Operator cited for failure to yield

6:18 p.m.: Report of shoplifting, Shops Way. Party issued a no trespass order from the property, and is given a summons for larceny

9:50 p.m.: Party in lobby erpots fraudulent activity, Warren Drive

11:27 p.m.: Caller reports loud music in the area, Mulberry Lane

Arrests:

Brian J. Laprade, 31, 9002 Avalon Drive, Northborough, arrested on a warrant for larceny under $250

I just want people to know that someone broke into my husband's truck last night on Whitney St. so please lock your vehicles.
