'Lassie' Looking Dog Found Wandering in Town

Have you lost your dog?

On Wednesday, around 2:30 p.m., resident Margaret Szulga found a "lassie" type dog (we're guessing a collie) wandering in the Northgate area of Northborough. This dog had a collar, but no tags.

A police officer took the dog to the station to wait for the animal control officer.

In the event that this lost dog has no microchip, Northborough Patch is posting this information to help bring the dog back to its family.

The dog had long, thick hair and was sandy brown with a little bit of white. I couldn't see if it was male or female, but it was lifting its leg to mark bushes/poles, etc so my guess is that it's a male. Very well-behaved as well.
