In Court: Man Admits to Assault, Driver's Fifth OUI Offense
The following cases involve Northborough residents and/or occurred in Northborough.
Matthew Bircher, 30, of 72 Central St., Gardner, was arrested Feb. 5 by Northborough police on charges of OUI liquor and number plate violation. Judge Robert Gardner Jr. continued the case to Feb. 17.
Kenneth B. Williams, 60, 6 Pilgram Ave., Worcester, was arrested on Feb. 7 by Northborough police on charges of OUI (fifth offense), negligent operation of a motor vehicle, driving with a suspended license (for OUI), marked lanes violation. Williams posted $10,000 cash bail, and was placed on house arrest and ordered to have no alcohol. Judge Vito Virzi scheduled a pre-trial hearing on Feb. 23.
Paul White, 42, of 200 Hudson, Apt. 12, Northborough, was arrested by Northborough police on Oct. 14 and charged with assault. White admitted to sufficient facts. Sufficient facts were found and Judge Vito Virzi placed White on one year of supervised probation. The defendant was ordered to pay $50 in court costs, have a substance abuse evaluation and submit to random drug screenings.
Louis A. Falcon, 31, 239 Boylston St., Shrewsbury, was summonsed to the Westborough District Court after Northborough police filed a complaint on Dec. 20. Falcon was charged with miscellaneous motor vehicle equipment violations and operating a motor vehicle with a suspended license, subsequent offense. Judge Vito Virzi found Falcon not responsible on the first charged. The second charge was dismissed upon payment of $200 in court fees.
