Is there a plan to move trick or treating in Marlborough to tonight?

No word yet on the Westborough schools. However, Tri-County Regional Vocational Technical High School will be closed Monday.

I just hope our power doesn't go out on Monday

Just got a call from MHS; all schools cancelled for Monday.

Beginning to regret downloading the App. Getting multiple (and loud) alerts every few hours for the last few days that a storm is coming. Getting annoying.

Still no word on school or trick-or-treating for Northborough. The last we heard, late last night, the superintendent was still waiting on it. We'll update you as we know, as always.

School was just canceled for tomorrow.

Learning Center for the Deaf in Framingham will be closed on Monday.

Still no OFFICIAL word from Framingham Public Schools, who traditionally do not close; but there is a new superintendent.

Many of you know with 50% of the town without power and a couple of schools on generators, Framingham opened schools after Irene, as if it was business as usual.

When we get any official word, we will post here.

All mass schools closed per Deval. Why wouldn't this automatically be the case since he declared a state of emergency in the am?

Yes, Danielle - that is the case. TBH - the governor "asked" that businesses and schools close, or rather strongly urged them to. We reported it after the superintendent officially announced it. Thanks for the feedback.

Thanks for the clarification. It still seems crazy to me that we could have a state of emergency and kids would still be boarding the busses...

It would be very unusual for the authorities not to heed the warning, that's for sure....

MetroWest YMCA Is closed on Monday.

All jury duty in Massachusetts, including Framingham has been cancelled for Monday.

The MBTA plans to operate regularly scheduled subway, bus, commuter rail and RIDE service Monday morning and for as long as it is safe to do so during the storm. Customers are encouraged to stay home if possible and to check MBTA.com for updates before riding the system.

Anybody know about the Holliston Town Meeting ? The town hall is closed and so are schools and I assume people won't go out in that wind and rain at night, worst time for the storm.

Is there trash pick-up today?

I hope they delay trash pick up. I was wondering the same thing. I can't imagine how much litter will be everywhere though if people put out their cans and recycling.

Just called Framingham Public Works - normal trash & recycling pickup today.

Just received a call from the Town of Framingham saying trash pick up will be delayed for one day.
