Northborough Patch helps answer the question, "What are we going to do this weekend?"

Horns, theatre and getting your house ready for spring - it's all part of our suggestions for getting out this weekend. You've been cooped up too long. Hit the road and take in some culture in your backyard.

1. QUINTESSENTIAL BRASS CONCERT
Where/When: , Saturday, March 12, 2-4 p.m.
Why Go: Who doesn't like a band with a horn section? Well, this band is all horns, playing a mix of classical, jazz and pop music.
Pricing: Free - Funded by the Northborough Cultural Council.

2. Where/When: Keefe Tech Continuing Education, 750 Winter St., Framingham, on Friday, March 11, at 7 p.m.
Why Go: The Keefe Tech Drama Club puts this one on, and it's based on the children’s book written by Harry G. Allard. Good theatre at low prices, with lots of restaurants nearby.
Pricing: $5

3. LEUKEMIA AND LYMPHOMA SOCIETY (LLS) BENEFIT
Where/When: Knights of Columbus, 17 Willow St., Westborough, Saturday, March 12, from 8 p.m to 12:30 a.m.
Why Go: Because it's a good cause, and there's live music by legendary jammers The Bruce Mandaro Band with special guests, Ed & Dave (and that's pronounced "Dah-Vay") and Friends. Also a cash bar and raffles. Doors open at 7:30.
Pricing: $10 suggested donation.

4.
Where/When:
Texas BBQ Company, 309 Main St., Northborough, on Thursday, March 10, at 8 p.m.
Why Go: Rock 'n' roll by a good three piece band is always a fine complement to any food smothered in barbecue sauce, as Abandon Jack smothers its setlist in pop, rock and blues.
Pricing: No cover

5.
Where/When:
DCU Center, 50 Foster St., Worcester, from March 11-13
Why Go: There are more than 200 vendors and exhibitors showing the best in home products and services related to spring, and that'll make you feel like you're budding.
Pricing: $6
