The coaching staff and team of the Algonquin Regional High School Boys Division 2 Central Mass. Lacrosse Champions. Algonquin beat St. John's of Shrewsbury 10-9, with 1:49 remaining in overtime, Saturday at Foley Stadium in Worcester.

Algonquin defeated St. John's of Shrewsbury 10-9 in overtime at rain soaked Foley Stadium,winning the Boys Division 2 Central Mass. Lacrosse Championship.
The Tomahawks met Western Mass. champ Longmeadow, at Foley Stadium in Worcester in a state semi-final match, making them Division II State champs.
A win this Friday at 7 p.m. against Medfield at Foley Stadium would give the Tomahawk boys the state title, making it the first time in program history, and a first for Central Massachusetts.
