Flood Watch Issued for Area
Much of Central Massachusetts is under a flood watch Tuesday through Wednesday.
The National Weather Service has issued a flood watch for portions of Central Massachusetts, including Northborough, Grafton and Shrewsbury. The flood watch is issued from Tuesday afternoon through Wednesday morning, during which up to an inch of rain and melting snow may cause small streams to flood.
Street flooding, too, is likely on Tuesday afternoon and evening, "especially where snow is blocking the basins. This could have an impact on the Tuesday evening rush hour."
