The panel at New Leaf Salon had a "really hard time picking just one winner. There were some really compelling nominations."

But a winner was chosen.

Julie Stanwood will receive the Marvelous Mothers prize package, which will give her a massive makeover package valued at more than $700. The complete makeover features a new hair design including cut and color, anti-aging skin treatment and professional make-up application at New Leaf Salon and Spa, as well as a new custom-selected outfit from Niva Boutique. And to capture the beautiful new look, it comes with a professional photo session from Maranto Studio Photography.

Also, Northborough Patch will be featuring the makeover process.

"Julie is a great mom to her five children and is very involved in service to our community in Northborough," said Laurie Filliere, owner of New Leaf Salon, "and to the surrounding community through her impressive work serving homeless children as the area coordinator for 'Birthday Wishes.'
