1.The 10-year-old district Northborough baseball all-stars continue with the Williamsport Tournament tonight at 5:30 p.m., taking on Auburn at Target Field (behind Target in Westborough).
2. The Antarctica theme continues at the Northborough Free Library today with its lunchtime series.
3. The Walking Group meets every Thursday at 10 a.m. at the Northborough Senior Center to, you guessed it, take a walk.
4. According to history.com, and probably many other historical sources, on this day in 1930 construction of the Hoover Dam began.
5. Every Thursday, there's live music on the deck, prime rib specials and trivia at the bar at JJ's. Those are three really good reasons to go there.
