5 Things: Affordable Senior Housing; Glowing Eyeballs

Hello, it's Monday. I know you've thought about it for a long long time. Clean your computer's desktop today!

1. On its agenda tonight, the Board of Selectmen discuss a waiver of fees for affordable housing for seniors, and the DPW director sets the sanding and salting budget for the season. The meeting, which is always open to the public, starts at 7 p.m at the Town Hall.

2. Motorists are strongly advised to avoid the center of Northborough Tuesday through Thursday this week because of paving. Plan your route accordingly. Maybe call in sick? No, Northborough Patch did not tell you to do that.

3. It can be nutritious and delicious. What are the healthiest sources of nutrition ... despite the media's attempt to confuse and "spin" unhealthy food choices as good for you? Find out at this free workshop today at Northboro Chiropractic Center.

4. This evening, make a creepy craft at the Northborough Free Library. You'll be walking away with some glowing eyeballs that you can brag about. Also tonight: the chess and checkers club and evening book club meets.

5. It's National Clean Your Virtual Desktop Day, as well as National Grouch Day, according to brownielocks.com.
