5 Things: Apples and Pumpkins for the Picking; Talent Show Kicks Off Applefest

Fall. Can you smell it?

 

1.Tougas Farm is in the heart of apple-picking season. Check the Facebook page or give them a call for conditions and hours. As of late, many kinds of apples were popping from the trees ready for you to grab. Also, note that pumpkin season opens at Tougas this Saturday.

2. To kick off Applefest 2012, the annual talent show takes place tonight at Algonquin Regional High School. Check out the talent show, and also the entire schedule on the official Applefest website.

3. Lunchtime Stories today at the Northborough Free Library are dedicated to new books on the shelves. Plop yourself and have a listen.

4. Registration must be in by today for some of the Recreation Department's after-school programs, or they will be canceled. Check out the whole schedule here, and get your kids signed up.
