5 Things: Be a Part of the Strategic Planning Survey; Party in Your PJs
Hello weekend!
1. Party in your PJs! Tonight's the night to not get dressed up and have a great time at the SW Recreation Center. It's a PJ party for kids and you can find the information right here. From the Rec. Center: "Drop your kids off with us for a fun evening of craft-making, games, movies, pizza and more...in their favorite pj’s! Bring a pillow and sleeping bag or blanket for extra comfort. Add some special friends for even more fun! ign up for as many as you’d like! Kids will be supervised by recreation staff. For planning purposes, drop-ins are not allowed, please sign up in advance. Minimum of 10/max of 25."
2. Laquerhead shines up some rock 'n' roll covers with a show at JJ's Sports Bar tonight.
3.These homes sold in town recently. Check out what kind of homes, where they are located ... and for how much.
4. Cortland, Gala, McIntosh and more. Tougas has got the apples, and they're ready to be picked. The farm is a destination year-round, but particiularly during apple picking season with its many trees, playground, store and snack bar. Oh, and you can get a dumpling to go and take a hayride. Check the Facebook page for updates and picking conditions.
5. The community is invited, and encouraged, to participate in a very useful, but short, survey on strategic planning for the schools. As is noted on the site, "We are pleased to announce that as part of the Strategic Planning process, a comprehensive survey is now available to all members of the Northborough-Southborough educational community. Whether you are a parent, staff member, or interested citizen, your opinion is important to us. We would greatly appreciate your feedback, so please consider taking the time to complete the survey. Your responses will help us evaluate our current programs and practices as we continue the process of strategically planning for our future. All survey information will remain anonymous. The questions focus on six general areas: student outcomes, student welfare, school personnel, communication, community outreach, and school funding. You may access the survey on the following link."
