The Purple Rose celebrates its 15th year of bringing design, home décor and gift-giving products and inspiration to its loyal New England and online clientele. The month of May marks the store’s 15th anniversary and will include a seventh annual tent sale on May 18 and 19 with up to 75 percent off clearance, and a bedding trunk
show with 20 percent off all bedding products.
In addition to the annual tent sale and bedding trunk show, The Purple Rose will hosts its annual Spring Ladies Night on April 26 with sushi from Yama Zakura, makeup demos from Rosie at Piel Skin Boutique, sweets from Coco Beni, cocktails, raffles and gifts with purchase.
“We are very appreciative of the support of our customers, so twice a year we throw them a fabulous party in the store where they can eat, drink, mingle and shop,” said Kimberly Reed, The Purple Rose’s creative director.
For the past 14 years, the eight rooms of this unique store housed inside an 1800’s colonial
home on historic Route 20 have been filled with styles ranging from American country
antiques, Victorian laces and velvets, shabby chic pastels and ruffles, to the eclectic mix that
the home décor evolution has brought it to today. Complementing old with new, The
Purple Rose has successfully managed to keep up with the trends while staying true to New
England style. Going into their 15th year, the mother-daughter team of Vicki Martelli and
Kimberly Reed aim to continue to please customers with new and fresh products while
maintaining their collection of desirable product lines such as Aidan Gray, Guildmaster,
Redford House, Bella Notte Linens, Matteo Home and Pine Cone Hill Linens.
