Merrimack College held its 62nd Commencement Exercises on May 20, when 553 students received undergraduate degrees in Business Administration, Education, Liberal Arts, and Science & Engineering, and an additional 46 graduated with Master of Education degrees.

Philip Sabelli graduated cum laude with a Bachelor of Arts degree in history, and Charles Dowd graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in business administration. Both students are residents of Northborough.

David McGillivray '76, race director of the B.A.A. Boston Marathon and president of DMSE, Inc. event management company, was the commencement speaker and was bestowed the Honorary Degree of Doctor of Public Service.
