The Rotary Club of Northborough presented its twelfth annual Pride In Workmanship Award to Maurice and Phyllis Tougas, owners of Tougas Family Farm in Northborough.

The criteria for the award includes, among other things, a person who has taken great pride in their chosen line of work, having done an exemplary job in this work for an extended period of time. Mo with Phyllis by his side has shown not only his love of fruit growing, but also his continual drive to educate himself, serve the needs of his
own farm and the entire apple market, and pass along this knowledge.

Currently “Mo” is the president of the International Fruit Growers Association and was last year's Massachusetts Fruit Grower of the Year.
