Delicious, refreshing slush has become a favorite fundraising destination at the annual Kidz Fest event. This year, everyone is invited attend and once again make fun-flavored slush a big fundraising success during the Kidz Fest celebration, Saturday, May 21, 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., at the Zeh Elementary School, 33 Howard St.

Liquid Ice, a family-owned Northborough company that services frozen beverages machines, will provide all equipment and will make sure that all proceeds from slush sales will be given to the Zeh Elementary School K-5 PTO.

“We are thrilled that every dollar from slush sales at Kidz Fest will go fund class trips and provide funding for other unbudgeted classroom needs," states Al Del Re, president of Liquid Ice. “This year our two flavors will be raspberry, plus a new surprise taste sensation.” Al and Jodi Del Re actively support the Zeh Elementary School Parent Teacher’s Organization.

Over the past six years, the sales of slush by Liquid Ice have raised thousands of dollars for the Zeh Elementary School PTO. Kidz Fest features kid-popular activities and foods, including laser tag, hot dogs, pizza and popcorn.
