Put Northborough on the Cover of Reader's Digest
Submitted by Reader's Digest
With only one more chance to win the Popular Vote for the week and 9 days left until Reader’s Digest names America’s Most Interesting Town, Reader’s Digest wants to know what makes your town so fascinating.
Some of the stories Americans have shared so far include:
- Descriptions and photos of the most scenic spots in town.
- Famous (or infamous) historical figures from the area.
- The people, places, and local businesses that make their town one-of-a-kind.
From now until May 31, 2012, locals are invited to log on to www.readersdigest.com/america to share personal stories and photos that illustrate what makes their town special. The author of the winning story will receive a cash prize of $1,000 and their town will be featured on the cover of an upcoming issue of Reader’s Digest magazine. This is an opportunity for individuals to shine and possibly bring national attention to their hometowns.
In addition, each week a new American town will be named America’s Most Interesting Town by popular vote and will be featured on the website and in an upcoming issue of Reader’s Digest. Locals can show their community spirit by logging on and voting for their town as many times as they like.
Reader's Digest encourages you to let your community know about this opportunity and start a conversation locally about what makes your hometown one-of-a-kind.
