I would like to thank the community for their support in my mission to collect 100 blankets for Project Linus. Project Linus is a national organization whose goal is to provide handmade blankets as gifts to seriously ill and traumatized children ages 0-18. So far, 134 no-sew blankets, quilts and afghans have been collected and will be distributed to Worcester area hospital and shelters. I have attached a picture of all the blankets collected.
A special thanks to Hodge Associates, Marlborough Savings Bank and Central One Credit Union for collecting blankets from the public.
Project Linus national blanket making day takes place in February. This year, I hosted 20 people for a blanket making party. I hope that next year we will have to take the party out of my house to accommodate more people!
I will continue to support the Worcester chapter through out the year and collect blankets, fabric, yarn, etc. I will also accept checks written out to "Project Linus National Headquarters."
Please contact me if you have any questions.
I am also happy to join your organization and teach people how to make the no-sew blankets. They are easy, quick and fun to do.
Thank you for your support.

Hi Lisa,
I have more fabric for you and wonder if you accept ribbon and lace trim. I have yards and yards of both! Your husband gave me your cell phone number, which I promptly lost, so I left 2 VM's at your home number. Maybe you're away? I also have some upholstery fabric - should I drop them all off at 96 W. Main?
thanks!

Hi Karen - I sent a message to the chapter coordinator to see if she has the fabric you are looking for - and if she could use the trim and upholstery fabric. I am waiting to hear back and will let you know. You can reach me at lisabhodge@yahoo.com. I will let you know as soon as I hear from her. Thanks!
