The Northborough Moms and Tots and Northborough Helping Hands Association, Inc.’s Fifth Annual Backpack and School Supplies Drive was a huge success for the 2012-2013 school year. The effort was able to donate  35 backpacks to students in need in the Northborough Public Schools to start their new school year.

The Drive’s success each year can be attributed to the outstanding community support.  The following businesses, organizations, and individuals made it possible for the goal of the Drive to be met:

A special thank you to Ian Brenckle who coordinated a concert in August, Jams for Cans, to partly benefit the Backpack Drive.

In addition to teaming up with Northborough Moms and Tots for the Backpack Drive, Northborough Helping Hands Association, Inc. has a medical equipment loan program, holiday outreach program and emergency funds to help those in need. Donations can be sent to P.O. Box 383, Northborough, MA 01532.
