Bowdoin College held its annual Honors Day ceremony May 9. Two students from Northborough achieved awards.

Daniel Palken, a member of the Bowdoin College Class of 2014, has been awarded the Edwin Herbert Hall Prize in Physics. Palken, majoring in English and Physics and minoring in Mathematics, is a graduate of Algonquin Regional High School.

Joseph Russo, a member of the Bowdoin College Class of 2014, has been awarded the J.B. Sewall Latin Prize. Russo, majoring in Economics and Earth Oceanographic Science and minoring in Classics, is a graduate of Roxbury Latin School.
