The Northborough Free Library is pleased to introduce a new way of learning a language through the Mango Languages online language-learning system. Mango Languages offers a fast, convenient, online solution to meet your language learning needs, and is free for all Northborough library patrons through our website at northboroughlibrary.org. Although it can be accessed on library computers, it is really designed for home use because of the speaking components.

There are more than 40 foreign language courses available and 16 English as a Second Language (ESL) courses. Each lesson combines real life situations and audio from native speakers with simple, clear instructions. You can choose to learn a language through the Mango Complete option, a 100-lesson course that is designed to provide a deep understanding of a language and its culture. Or select the Mango Basic option which teaches everyday greetings and helpful phrases in a short period of time, and is designed to appeal to the traveler or to a beginning learner of new language.
