The Friends of the Northborough Library are holding their Annual Big Book Sale at the library from Thursday, March 22, through Saturday, March 24.  The hours are 9:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Thursday and Friday, and 9:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday.

Book prices range from 50 cents to $1, with some special books priced higher. Other items are also the same price as last year.

Saturday is "Bargain Day!" All books will be 50 cents or less, and the always-popular bag sale will begin at 2 p.m. and run for the final hour of the sale.

The member preview is Wednesday, March 21, from 4-8 p.m. for paid-up members of the Friends. Membership forms are available at the library or on-line.  You can also join at the door. Membership remains just $12 for a family and helps support the library programs.

Shoppers will find an excellent selection of fiction and non-fiction, hardcovers and paperbacks, children's books, CDs, DVDs, videos, and audiobooks. This year, the selection is so big that the Friends have expanded their sale by a day to accommodate such a high volume of books. Please remember that we accept cash and checks (with valid ID) only.

Come and browse and bring a friend!

The Library is located at 34 Main Street, Northborough, MA, and the sale will be held in the Meeting Room at the library.  Book donations are still being accepted, please leave your books inside the library (not outside or in the book drop!!!)  We accept gently used book and media items.  Please, no magazines, Reader's Digest condensed books or books in poor condition.  The thousands of books in the Book Sale all come from donations from folks like you---THANK YOU very much!
